In the last few years, especially, there have been a lot of historic accomplishments by Black people. But too many normal things are still happening for the first time. What could the country look like once it isn’t surprising for Black people to do anything? While still at McGarrah Jessee, I created a series of posters that were papered over artwork and walkways all over the building. The point: to give people something more ambitious to imagine during Black History Month and beyond it. Here are a few.
